Jon Gordon has won numerous awards including Down Beat's "Rising Start" Critic's Poll in Composition 2010 and 2011. January 5, 2015 - 6:30pm University of Hawaii at Manoa - Room 108 (Bandroom) TODD OXFORD Classical saxophonist, recording artist and educator Todd Oxford has performed in Europe, Asia, Mexico, Canada and throughout forty-six of the fifty United States. The Hawaii Saxophone Foundation is a non-profit organization created to raise the level of awareness and education of the saxophone in Hawaii. Plans to achieve this will be by commissioning new compositions, hosting clinicians for workshops and concerts, providing college scholarships and eventually providing instruments to schools in need.
